  The Project

The program set in motion by the children’s workshop continues to grow and yield positive results. As of February, 2006, 40 children are enrolled in school, 24 more than the original 16. Several of the older children have retired from the jobs as street hawkers and have been elevated to more desirable and lucrative employment opportunities. Their younger siblings are receiving the education they earned.

Part of the education is a weekend photography workshop. A book of the photography of the images taken is planned with proceeds to go to the continuing education of the students.

The goal of this film is to give insight into the lives of street children in Cambodia and to inspire viewers to support education for these impoverished youth so that their life conditions may improve.
